SLJ Week 2 day 5 - Making a Statment
In late 1940s people were wearing very formal clothes whereas today in 2018 I wear casual clothes like shorts and a T-shirt or jeans and a jacket which are quite different from that time. Some people still wear formal clothes but I would prefer to ware casual clothes because I would not feel comfortable in wearing a formal clothes. 65 years from now I think that people would be wearing more fashionable clothes.

Hey Alex,
ReplyDeleteThat's a really good observation. You're right, the 1940's style was quite formal and sophisticated, while now, we can get away with wearing more casual clothing. I feel like we can almost wear whatever we want to now... There is a lot more freedom and choice!
What do you think you'll be wearing in 65 years time? Will you still be earring shorts and t-shirt or jeans and a jacket?
Nicky :)
