One day I was walking along the deck of the ship when I heard a loud bang. I started to run as I saw smoke coming from the far end of the ship. I ran towards the room where my patients were waiting to receive treatment from the doctor. Just as I arrived at the door to their room I heard another loud bang and I got really very scared. I was panicking. I was screaming for help. I saw all the doctors and Nurses running towards the same room to help. With the help of other nurses and doctors we calmed the patients and put them one by one on stretchers and took them to the safe place. After that we heard captain announcement to leave the ship immediately as whole ship was on fire. At last I really thankful to all my colleagues who struggled hard to save all patients.

ReplyDeleteThis is some great writing! What a scary situation to be in, it sounds like you were really brave. Nurses and doctors have a hard enough job as it is without having to reduce all their patients from a burning ship! It's a good reminder of all the hero's that served as medics in the war, too.
