Today in maths we did colouring we had to colour the shapes in the different colour and we times the number to find out how to match the colour. There were some patterns left over because they were prime numbers and they could only be timed by themselves and one.

Maths
This week in Algebra we have been finding and applying rules for patterns. We drew the patterns and continued to the 5th or 6th pattern. We predicted the 10th pattern and in our group we then created a rule for the pattern. The rule for this pattern is
(nx4)+(n-1x2)

This was a challenging and fun activity.

Today in maths I learned how to find the different volumes in a box 20cm by 20cm. By using equipment and taking away 20cm from 1 up to 10.

This is Saia and my 64 squares 8-8 tile creation. We made our own pattern for mums kitchen floor.

MATHS
Today in maths we did rotational and reflection. The question was mum's kitchen floor is square and is fitted with 64 squares tiles in an 8x8 array. and we had to make our own pattern for the floor she had 32 black and 32 white.
