On August 24, 2016, the senior block and the junior went to the school hall to see a show. There were three people hosting the Duffy show.
They were performing a true story about a girl named ruby and her grandfather went to war and died and she could not read because she never went to school.
When the Duffy shows finished they asked some questions and then it was finished and we all went back to class.
This blog is a record of my learning from Glenbrae School in Auckland, NZ through to Tamaki College.

The Amazing Duffy Assembly!
Duffy Assembly
On April 12 2016, we went to the hall for a special visitor. His name is Eli Tagi and he came to talk about how reading is good.
When we go to the hall miss Elia brought Eli in. Eli talked to us about himself and how he started to read.
At the end we all finished the best class went back to to calls and Eli left and it was all over.
