Dear Danny I have come back from Tundra and I had a very great experience there. I have seen big mountains and I have climbed them too.
I have also seen a lot of animals there too the place has mostly farm areas and the temperature was not that good but not that bad. I had a lot of fun at the place and maybe you could go there too.
Yours sincerely
Alex
Hi Alex,
ReplyDeleteIt's Leslie here, writing to you from Canada as one of the members of the Summer Learning Journey team.
We have a tundra area in Canada too but ours is very very cold and dry. There are very few people who even travel through our tundra because there's so little food available there and it's so remote.
From my reading about the tundra in New Zealand, there are birds and sea lions and seals that live on the islands that are in the tundra biome, but no domestic animals. And there are no farms as the land is too barren and the temperatures too low.
You wrote a nice letter - just try to be careful about your information when you're writing about an environment.
Keep working at the activities - you're doing well!
