SLJ week 2 day 4 Milford Sound

What would I chose to explore Milford Sound?
Helicopter, Boat cruse or on foot?

For my pick I would chose to walk so I can feel and see the spectacular mountains and things in my surrounding and I think that it will be more fun climbing the mountains than sitting in a helicopter or boat.

  1. Hi Alex,
You may have seen me floating around your blog, but you just have such good posts. I have seen so many people saying they want to go walking, and I'm thinking why people don't want to go on a boat. Exactly! Your post answered my question because hiking up big mountains is so much fun. I think I also feel like walking as well because of your post! Maybe next time you can describe what you see and how it looks.

  2. Hello Alex,
I am Vitaraag. I also kind of have to agree with you. when you said that you can feel the view and stuff. I would go on a boat because you can feel the waves and look into the water. Maybe next time you can say more about why you want to walk. Keep up the amazing work!

  3. Kia ora Alex,

My name is Georgia and I am the Cluster Manager for the Kaikohekohe (Northland) tamariki. You have been doing an excellent job at completing SLJ activities, ka pai.

I really enjoyed reading your response to the Planes, trains and automobiles activity. I too think the walking option would be magnificent, however, you would have to be very fit to do the entire Milford Track. My friend did it last year and it takes days! Have you ever visited the Milford Sounds before?

Keep up the fabulous blogging and enjoy the remainder of your holidays :-)

    Nga mihi, Georgia.
