Good choice! That is a really good waiata and very catchy too! I thought it was clever how they managed to incorporate the national anthem into the song.
Had you heard of any of these artists before you heard this song? I had only heard of Stan Walker but they all had good voices so after I heard this waiata, I listened to some more of their music.
I look forward to reading more of your blog. Cheers, Ruby.

It is great to see you have shared three reasons as to why you like the waiata, Aotearoa. I really like this waiata too! I like the way that many New Zealand artists have come together to sing in our native language and share what it means to be from Aotearoa. I think this song is really empowering and makes me proud to live in such a beautiful country. Maybe you could add a link to the waiata so that other people who view your blog can listen to it too.
I hope you holidays have been going well and you have been enjoying some time outside in the sun! What are some things you have been doing? I'd be interested to hear back from you! :)
It's awesome to see how actively you have been blogging this summer! Remember that you can always go back and add to the activities you have already completed to make sure they are the best blog posts that you can do. I know the Summer Learning Journey team have enjoyed reading and commenting on your blog. We can't wait to see what else you will blog!
