If my teacher ask me to tell the class about my trip, I would say the things that I have learnt from my travel is how the Australian people celebrate their national day. I also learnt about music and arts. I went to the zoo and I had a elephant ride. I took a picture with a python. I feed giraffes and I also learned about the great barrier reef. I made videos about my summer activities I interviewed my brother. I learned about the big landscapes in Australia. I also made my own national holiday. I learned three interesting facts about Hillary Clinton. I watched Australian shows. I also learned about Richie Macaw and much more. I learned what Australian people eat for breakfast. summer learning journey was a great holiday activity. I learned lots from this program especially about Australia and this program kept me entertained throughout the holidays. I wish this program carry on for a long time.

The first thing from my travel I have learnt is how people celebrate their national day and the second thing is what they eat and how they live their lives.

The vehicle that I like is the one wheel scooter. Because it looks so cool. It is self balanced and very convenient to handle. It runs up to 16 km/hr.

  

Biking Summer Learning Journey Week 4 day 19

Let’s imagine that the neighbouring town was about 30 kilometres away. There are a number of beautiful villages and interesting things to see along the way. You have four options for this trip. You can take a:

1. Train – 25 minute ride; No stops along the way; $12 for the trip (return)
2. Bus – 45 minute ride; Two stops along the way to look at interesting villages; $8 for the trip (return)
3. Scooter – 1 hour ride; Unlimited number of stops; $5 for the trip (return)
4. Bicycle – 2 hour ride; Unlimited number of stops but there are some hills along the way; $1 (return)

On your blog, tell us which of these four options you would choose and why!

I would choose bicycle, because this is the cheapest option. Also there are unlimited number of stops to have photos of the scenic views. There are some hills along the away, could be good exercise and I feel that bike riding is more fun.      

Kakapo Summer learning Journey Week 4 Day 18

I think that the government should do to save the Kakapos, find them a new home. Because there a lot of predators near them like dogs, cats, weasels, possums and rats. Another thing I think we should do is get ride of the predators that harm the kakapos.
