Title: Like a water buffalo
Characters: Olivia cousins and family
Conflict: Olivia was jumping in the mud

Setting: Outside


Event 1:her family was planting in the rain

Event 2: Olivia was sitting under the tree with her cousins  
Event 3: Olivia jumped in mud and she got all dirt  
Event 4: Then her mum came she was laughing and Olivia too.


Climax:
My favourite part was when Olivia jumped in the mud




Resolution:

They were all happy and laughing when she jumped in the mud

1. What did you read about today? I read about silent reading

Home is my special place because that's where I live and that's where I lived when I was a baby.

Home is where I live and home is the best place  for me and my family. There is always food on the table. My family is always there. That's why home is a special place for me.

When The Air Blows

Story Map
Creating a story map is a way to help you understand and summarize the stories you read.  When you make a story map, you identify the basic story elements, such as the characters, setting, conflict, and important plot events.
Title:WHEN THE AIR BLOWS
Characters: Wind and the boy
Conflict:   when the wind was strong it can blow everything away.

Setting: In the Garden, sea and a birthday.


Event 1: The wind rushes through the telephone lines.

Event 2: When air moves it takes school notices, washed clothes and brings strange things into the garden.

Event 3: It blows the waves, windmill and my hair.

Event 4: When I blow the air then I can whistle, play the recorder and blow my birthday candles.


Climax:
It is interesting to know that we can also blow air.



Resolution: When the wind stops blowing hard everything will be alright.
