Bird Feeders

Today in room 8 we all made bird feeders out of recycled products. This was part of our lesson on Wastewise. We were learning how to reuse reduce and recycle.We are helping the environment instead of harming it by making these bird feeders. When the birds are finished we will put all of the materials in the recycling bins at school.

  

Recycle

In class we have been learning about waste wise. I made this poster to show what to put in the right bin. If you put recycling stuff in the rubbish bin it will become rubbish when it gets to the dump. This will remind us not to contaminate our recycling and to put things in the right bins.

My Weekend

On Sunday the 19th my three baby cousins came over. First we played on the Playstation and we all played Minecraft. We built houses and made cool stuff.

After that we watched television. We watched cartoons like Spongebob. We watch a lot of cartoons about Spongebob at home.

Then my mum told us to come outside because she built a fort for us. We played in the fort for a bit, then we played with a skipping rope which was fun.

After all of that, my Aunt, Uncle and Grandma came to pick up my cousin. We had some food and then they went home.

Maths

Yesterday we learnt about how do another strategy to solve multiplication problems. CHECK IT OUT ABOVE!  

Maths

Today in maths we did colouring we had to colour the shapes in the different colour and we times the number to find out how to match the colour. There were some patterns left over because they were prime numbers and they could only be timed by themselves and one.
